Music Ministries
Sing & Play (3 years old - 6th Grade)
Sing & Play is a program dedicated to, as the title suggests, singing, playing, and celebrating our faith. Children will participate in free play, arts & crafts, story time, prayer, and music. Sing & Play offers an optional once/month musical performance opportunity for families at Sunday Worship. Sing & Play meets on select Wednesdays throughout the year from 5:00 – 6:00pm.

Traditional Choir (High School - Adult)
Traditional Choir is a group of musicians who rehearses/performs in a similar style to a High School or College Choir. These musicians sing Soprano, Alto, Tenor, and Bass. This group is open to musicians of all abilities. Traditional Choir rehearses Wednesday evenings from 7:00 – 8:00pm during the school year. Traditional Choir offers an optional once/month musical performance opportunity for participants at Sunday Worship.

Junior Leaders (7th Grade - High School)
Junior Leaders is a small group dedicated to helping out the children involved with our Sing & Play program. Junior Leaders are students interested in being good role models, assisting with care of children, and helping to teach/lead the music during Sing & Play. Junior Leaders must be comfortable with singing, dancing, and acting a little goofy in front of a group of children. Junior Leaders meet on select Wednesdays throughout the year from 4:30 – 6:00pm. They will receive instruction for the day from 4:30 – 5:00pm and then be active with the Sing & Play children from 5:00 – 6:00pm. Junior Leaders will also help lead actions/motions at Sunday Worship performances.

Contemporary Band (High School - Adult)
Contemporary Band is a group of musicians who helps lead our Thursday evening Worship Service. These musicians play contemporary style hymnal music, and music you would hear on Christian radio, such as
K-Love. This group is open to vocalists, acoustic guitar, bass guitar, and percussionists. Contemporary Band meets Thursdays from 5:30 – 7:30pm. Rehearsal is at 5:30pm. Worship is at 6:30pm.

Blended Musicians (High School - Adult)
Blended Musicians are a group of musicians who helps lead our Sunday morning Worship Service. These musicians play contemporary style hymnal music and, on occasion, some traditional numbers as well. This group is open to vocalists, acoustic guitar, bass guitar, percussionists, woodwinds, and strings. Blended Musicians meet Sundays at 7:45 – 9:30am. Rehearsal is at 7:45am. Worship is at 8:30am. This group meets an hour later during the summer months.

Handbell Choir (High School - Adult)
Handbell Choir is a group of musicians who rehearses/performs with a traditional style handbell(s). This group is open to musicians of all abilities. If you have a love of this particular art form, but struggle to read music, please reach out, we can work with most musicians to create something readable for you. Handbell Choir rehearses Monday evenings from 6:00 – 7:00pm during the school year. There is an additional optional rehearsal Wednesday evenings from 7:00 – 8:00pm during the school year. Handbell Choir offers a once/month musical performance opportunity for participants at Sunday Worship.
