Women's Bible Study Groups
Calling all women of First United! Mark your calendars for our first (in a long time) annual women’s event, “Get Connected!”, on Saturday, March 3, from 9:00 - 11:30 a.m., in the Genszler/Chapel! This will be our time to get together, get to know each other better, and have some fun! Please contact Deaconess Deb (452-2401 or

Currently, there are five groups for women's to choose from when seeking fellowship, education and sharing.

Morning Glories meet every Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. in the Genszler Room at church.
Naomi Circle meets the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at the home of a member.
New Spirit Circle meets the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at the home of a member.
Martha Circle meets the third Tuesday of each month at 1:30 p.m. at the home of a member.
There is also a Mom's Bible Study group that meets during the school year every Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. in the church library. Childcare is available during this time.
Other Small Group Ministry Opportunities
First United is blessed with members who have a variety of interests. Many times these interests are shared by others, and a small group is developed around them. You might enjoy playing Dartball on the church’s traveling team every Thursday at 7:30 p.m. from October through March. If you have a talent for sewing the Quilters who meet on the second and fourth Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. would welcome your participation. If you enjoy a good meal with great conversation, then the Dining Out Group (quarterly a new restaurant is the place to meet) or Good Food, Good Fellowship Group (GFGFG) with dinner on a rotating schedule at member’s homes are options. Our Prayer Group meets every Thursday at 9:00 a.m. and focuses on the prayer requests for that week. During the pro football season, Faith and Fantasy Football is for those who want to learn more about the Bible while building relationships through the combination of the thrill of sports with the fellowship of devotion. MovieGoers meet at a local theater a few times a year, watch a current film, and then enjoy discussion that follows. The Softball Team plays teams from other churches on Monday nights during the summer.
